An extremely talented young lady came to visit the studio during mid-term break.  We were absolutely blown away by her ability and her determination to make awesome images. We couldn’t be happier with the results.

Aimee and her Mum, Ashley came to the studio for a consultation to discuss the poses she would try during the photoshoot and the overall look of the images. Then, on the day of the shoot, we shot on three different set-ups and tried most of the different looks on each set-up. We shot on a plain white background, a hand painted canvas backdrop and side lit Aimee on a black background as well. We shoot tethered to a laptop so we can examine each image as it comes in and Aimee’s sister Sophie was on hand to guide Aimee and to check the positions were technically correct.

What a wonderful shoot and we hope you’ll agree, amazing images from the white set :-)

A little bit about Aimee: Aimee Alwright is a 12 year old primary school student who has attended Kym’s Company dance school since she began dancing in August of 2018.   She trains in all forms of dance, but especially enjoys lyrical, acro, contemporary and jazz.  In 2019 Aimee represented Ireland at Dance World Cup in Portugal, the biggest dance competition in the world.  Aimee is an elite dancer at Kym’s Company and trains as part of a competition team and also as a soloist performer.   Aimee has recently successfully auditioned to become a company member of Seek Dance Company based in Manchester, England.  Aimee loves the emotion of lyrical, the skill of acro and the sass of jazz.
